• Students will learn how to think like the Founding Fathers, discovering where they got their great ideas, and why these ideas made so much sense to them in forming the first free people in modern times. Participants in the class will become familiar with the 28 Principles of Liberty which launched the remarkable progress of the United States. Students will understand why these ideas of liberty took America farther in 200 years, (from oxcarts to walking on the moon) than mankind was able to progress in over 5000 years before. They will also learn how these concepts, if restored today, would solve nearly every problem we have in America today.

  • American Government and Constitution Part II is the natural follow-up to Part I. In Part I, the student learned the 28 Principles of Liberty that the Founders said must be present for a people to maintain liberty and freedom. Part II is an in-depth study of exactly how the Founders used these 28 Principles to build the plan of government we call the Constitution of the United States. This is the story of how the Constituion came into being. The student will learn the terrible trials and learning expereinces the Founders seemed to have to go through in order to give then the perspective needed to find the balance center of the political spectrum. Finally, the student will appreciate, in the words of the Founders themselves, what each separate provision means in the Constitution and why the Founders thought it necessary to put it in the document. Completeing this course will give the student an appreciation of the Constitution like no other study course can. It is what is needed by all Americans who wish to restore the Constitution to its original beauty and power. One semester high school credit will be given upon completion.
